One of the top priorities for the Chiefs this off-season was to re-sign wide receiver Chris Chambers. After a few quiet daysto start free agency and several rumors of his departure to different locales, Kansas City made good on their desire to bring him back with a new three year contract. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the deal between Chambers and the Chiefs will pay him up to $15 million and guarantees at least $5.9 million.

This is a point I’ve made numerous times and I feel compelled to go on the record once more, as I sense the growing frustration made over the relative inactivity of the Chiefs during the opening days of free agency.
