<span style=”font-weight: bold;”>WHAT’S THE NEWS</span><span><br /></span><br />I tweeted again yesterday my congratulations to the Columbus Clippers All-Stars.<br /><br />In case you missed it, Jordan Brown, Wyatt Toregas, and Andy Marte <a style=”color: rgb(204, 0, 0);” href=”http://clippers.mlblogs.com/archives/2009/07/three_clippers_named_to_all-st.html”>made the International League All-Star team</a>.<br /><br />I mean yeah!<br /><br />Andy Marte, IL All-Star.. Go Marty! Go Marty! Go Marty!<br /><br />I may joke about Jack Cassel being sucky and the brother of Kansas City Chiefs Starting Quarterback, but here is <a style=”color: rgb(204, 0, 0);” href=”http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20090702&content_id=5663516&vkey=news_t445&fext=.jsp&sid=t445″>a nice story</a> about his organization with Reds outfielder Chris Dickerson.<br /><blockquote><span style=”font-style: italic; color: rgb(102, 102, 102);”>”Our niche is using the players from inside the clubhouse and out.” Around the sports world many stadiums and arenas use recycling receptacles to help out the environment but most do not use them in the clubhouses.
