The Jets haven't made an announcement, but they have signed former Chiefs long snapper Tanner Purdum, according to several reports. Purdum was the Chiefs' snapper in training camp and spent the season on the practice squad. Early this week, he received a call from the Jets, worked out for the team on Tuesday and signed with them on the same day, he told his local newspaper
